American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
Goodness is one of the guiding principles of Thando Teas. We live our convictions by featuring a national charity we believe in and donate 5% of our net profits to their efforts. We further support by donating an additional 10% when you purchase the Monthly Featured Product.
August’s featured charitable organization is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). I have personally been affected by suicide at a very early age and understand both the pain, the devastation of the sufferer, and those left behind.
Mission: Save Lives and Bring Hope to Those Affected by Suicide Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
